Thank you for your interest registering your child for the 2025/2026 academic year.

BGL has switched to an online only registration system to help save paper and also to ensure accuracy in student information and files. Thank you for your understanding.

All registrations will require a Parish/Family registration number (the same number as your Contribution/Donation Envelopes).

Tuition Fees:

The fee for Non-Sacramental preparation classes is $70 per student.

This includes Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8.

The fee for Sacramental preparation classes is $120 per student.

This includes Grade 3: First Reconciliation & First Communion,

and Grade 6: Confirmation.

BGL collects these fees to cover the costs of teaching materials, class activities, uniforms, meals, feast days, gifts for Christmas and Easter, honour roll and prizes, technological aids to help with instruction such as projectors, and Sacramental Preparation materials and gifts.

BGL is a wholly volunteer-run, charitably structured organization that is sanctioned by the Diocese of Calgary and the St. Vincent Liem's Parish Pastoral Council to provide faith education, volunteering opportunities, and volunteer training to young people and children in our Parish. BGL is not a registered Charitable Organization, though our activities and expenditures are in line with what would be expected of a Charitable Organization.

Payment of fees:

Once you are done filling out the form and press Submit, you will be automatically redirected to the payment screen where you can make payment via credit or debit card.

BGL Policies

BGL Attendance policy:

Students may not miss more than three (3) teachings days in the year. Excused and/or unexcused absences count towards this limit; any student who misses more than three (3) days may be held back or be deemed ineligible to receive the Sacrament.

I understand that I have the responsibility to inform my child's teachers of my children's absences.

BGL Parental support policy:

I understand that it is my responsibility as a parent to ensure my child understands and review the materials taught in class.

If my child needs extra support I can reach out to the BGL teaching team for additional materials and support.

BGL Sacramental policy:

I understand that if the BGL teaching team and/or the Priests or Bishop determine that my child is inadequately prepared to receive the Sacrament, then my child will not be eligible to receive the Sacrament in that academic year.

BGL Privacy policy:

I understand that my children may participate in Parish and BGL activities that may include photography and videography in accordance with Diocesan and Calgary Catholic School District policies for public spaces.

BGL Student dress code:

Students are expected to wear clothing that is appropriate for attending Mass.

Prohibited clothing:

- No shorts

- No tank tops/string tops

- Skirts or pants must extend to below the knee

- No clothing with offensive images/phrases

TNTT uniforms are acceptable.

BGL Code of Conduct:

Abuse of volunteers and parish staff will not be tolerated.

If you have a concern or complaint please reach out to the BGL Executive team or to the Parish office.

Students are expected to uphold the values of the Catholic faith in their behaviour.

By submitting this form and registering my child:

1) I give my permission as a parent and/or guardian for my child to attend BGL classes in accordance with the Diocese of Calgary's policies and

2) I have fully read and understand the BGL policies and expectations stated above.
